Bromelain 2400 features high potency bromelain of 24000 GDU per gram. GDU’s (gelatin dissolving units) are a measure of the activity of bromelain and ensure strength. Each vegetarian capsule provides 500 mg of professional strength bromelain. Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme from the stem of the pineapple plant that can be absorbed systemically. Bromelain has a long history of clinical use and has been subject to scientific research.
