Description

Natroceutics Natro-Berberine Complex combines Berberine HCl and Liposomal berberine providing a product with faster uptake, longer action and increased bioavailabilty. Activity is further enhanced with the inclusion of liposomal chromium.

Standard berberine supplementation may have limited results for some, as oral absorption can be comprised. However, Natroceutics Berberine Complex has been developed using specialised delivery technology which overcomes the challenges of regular berberine supplementation whilst remaining scientifically validated.

Berberine is an alkaloid with a rich history of traditional use. A powerful natural compound, its primary areas of action are in the gut and cellular metabolism. Berberine is a potent activator of the enzyme AMPK (adenosine monophosphate protein kinase). Also known as the ‘metabolic master switch’, AMPK regulates blood sugar levels, blood pressure, healthy cholesterol levels and body composition. AMPK can be activated naturally through calorie restriction and exercise.

The primary mode of action for metformin, a major pharmaceutical drug for diabetes, is the activation of AMPK. When used correctly, berberine can be an effective AMPK activator and offers other significant health advantages.

Natroceutics Berberine Complex regulates and maintains healthy blood-glucose levels, and regulates healthy cholesterol levels.

Ingredients

Berberine hydrochloride, Capsule shell (hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose), Liposomal Berberine complex (Berberine hydrochloride, chromium picolinate, phospholipid complex), Brown rice powder, Anti-caking agent (magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide).

Directions For Use

Adults and children over 12 years, take 1 capsule once or twice a day at the start of the largest meals, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Precautions

Patients with hypersensitivity to berberine, tree turmeric, goldenseal, goldthread, Oregon grape, European barberry, phellodendron, chromium, leather, or any of the other components of the formulation.

Avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Avoid concomitant use with Ciclosporin.

Chromium supplementation should be avoided in patients with renal dysfunction.

Consult with a healthcare provider before concomitant use with anticoagulant, antiplatelet and antidiabetic medication.
