Description

Lamberts^® takes great care to ensure the purity of the 5-HTP used in this product which is extracted from a natural source, the seeds of a plant called Griffonia. The extract from this plant is now one of the most extensively used supplements worldwide and is particularly popular in the USA where it has a long history of use. Our tablets are manufactured in the UK to pharmaceutical GMP standards.

5-HTP, short for 5-hydroxytryptophan, is a derivative of tryptophan, an amino acid that is present in high protein foods such as meat and dairy products and whilst the body makes its own 5-HTP from tryptophan it is able to use the 5-HTP provided by supplements.

Each tablet delivers:

L-5-Hydroxytrytophan

100mg

(natural extract from the seeds of Griffonia simplicifolia)

Tableted With:
DiCalcium Phosphate, Calcium Carbonate, Cellulose, Tablet Coating (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Colour: Titanium Dioxide, Glycerin), Silicon Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Magnesium Stearate.

Allergen Advice
The following list of allergens are excluded: Wheat, Gluten, Barley, Soya, Eggs, Milk and milk products, Lactose, Nuts, Sulphites, Celery, Fish, Shellfish and Yeast.

Cautions
This product is not recommended for pregnant or lactating women. Mild drowsiness may occur in some people. It is advisable not to drive or operate machinery until you determine how 5-HTP affects you. Consult your Doctor if you are taking antidepressants.
