Essence of Eden Coconut oil is a very intensive and expensive certification process, being of the highest food grade and quality. Essence of Eden coconut oil is also licensed by Defra providing further assurance of the highest quality. Coconut oil is an excellent moisturiser for your skin, face, body and hair. When used as a moisturiser, you may need to re-apply a few times to reach your own saturation point whilst the skin adapts. This is because commercial moisturising beauty products contain a percentage of water which immediately satisfies the skin. It is highly recommended for aroma therapy and massage, being excellent carrier oil. Also, as stated in the research book, "The Healing Miracles of Coconut Oil", by Bruce Fife, may also aid the repair of damaged skin and assist with sensitive teeth, aside from numerous other suggested uses.

Essence of Eden Coconut oil is 100% ORGANIC, Natural, Premium Virgin Coconut Oil and has an extensive range of uses. To meet all of your culinary requirements, can be used in baking, frying, grilling, roasting, on toast or straight off the spoon. Any recipe calling for butter, oil or margarine, Coconut oil can be used instead. You will find it a clear fluid when warm, solid when cool. Essence of Eden Coconut oil has a delicious fresh light coconut-creamy taste unlike some coconut oil products, which leave a burnt taste and aroma. It is not an expeller or cold pressed oil but a naturally separated oil, ensuring a high level of lauric acid.

Coconut Oil is a medium chain fatty acid (MCFA) which means that it is immediately converted into energy when ingested. Therefore it is not possible to store Coconut Oil in the body unlike other oils such as vegetable oil, Soya oil, canola oil etc, which are extremely difficult for the body to digest as they have been hydrogenated so causing obesity and weight gain. Because Coconut Oil is converted into energy, the metabolic rate is increased which can aid in the loss of weight.
