Flavonoids are nutrients found in colourful fruits and plants beneficial to human health. Quercetin contributes to the brilliant rich golden colour of the Dimorphandra mollis plant, which supplies flavonoid extracted from the seed pods. Bromelain's proteolytic properties help break down protein which helps support digestion. Bromelain is a naturally occurring enzyme from pineapple stems that helps increase the bioavailability and positive benefits of the flavonoid quercetin, supporting a sustained immune response.
