Clearspring Organic Mu Tea is a delicious caffeine-free blend of eleven invigorating and soothing oriental herbs.
It contains orange peel, liquorice root, ginseng, cinnamon and other exotic oriental herbs that combine to create a sweet tasting, spicy and aromatic blend.
Mu Tea was formulated by the Japanese diet and health philosopher, George Ohsawa (founder of the Macrobiotic diet and philosophy), in the 1950s based on his studies of the energetic properties of traditional oriental herbs. The word Mu in Japanese means 'an ideal state of balance'.
In fact it is suggested that this careful combination of these 11 herbs, each containing different yin and yang elements, interact and complement each other in such a way that the resulting effect is more than just the arithmetic sum of the herb properties.
